Henriquez hat-trick helps Dinamo win title
Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez scored a 57-minute hat-trick as Dinamo Zagreb clinched the Croatian league title.
The Chile international, on loan from Old Trafford, helped his side thrash RNK Split 5-1, with the opening goal of his treble coming from the penalty spot. The 21-year-old has netted 17 times in 22 appearances during his season-long stay in the capital.
Dinamo's outstanding away triumph sealed a 10th title win in a row as they are 15 points clear of second-placed Rijeka.
Meanwhile, Tom Cleverley scored the second goal of his loan at Aston Villa, in a 3-2 home win over Everton, to boost the FA Cup finalists' chances of survival. However,Jesse Lingard's Derby County missed out on the Championship play-offs following a 3-0 home reverse to Reading.
In Spain, Javier Hernandez played 66 minutes of Real Madrid's vital 3-2 triumph at Sevilla before being replaced by Gareth Bale. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to keep the reigning European champions on Barcelona's trail at the top of La Liga.
